This was recommended by my hotel. Receptionist was very professional. It is very clean, spacious Unfortunately I only had one session this time. When I was in Hanoi 6 years ago, I had 3 sessions I turned up at 8. Not cheap, but much better value than western equivalents. Missy Tinh not sure if I spelt that right did my massage and facial - both were very relaxing.
Your belongings are locked away so it's all very secure. I walked back to my hotel through the Old Quarter's streets at about 11pm and felt perfectly safe. Would definitely recommend SF Spa! The relaxation started at the reception already, when I entered without an appointment. After a short wait, sweetened by ginger tea, I was guided to nicely appointed rooms with separate showers.
The therapist was very qualified and gentle. Truly enjoyed the traditional Vietnamese style massage. Highly recommended.
You feel years younger afterwards. Our hotel had given us a voucher for a percentage off treatment at this Spa. Worried after 2 very long day trips that we would not get an opportunity to visit the spa our hotel made a reservation and arranged for our tour guide to take us to the Spa directly as opposed to return to hotel after the trip. We were pleasantly surprised at how professional it was having been to other Spa's in Hanoi earlier in the week. All staff speak English and are in a uniform.
The previous spa we went to the staff were wearing jeans etc and it made me doubt if they were qualified. I had no doubts at SF Spa. It was quite busy with people clearly returning for more treatments and being turned away due to being fully booked.
